Hi, I'm Fred.

I'm the Co-Founder of Tortuga. We make carry-on-sized travel backpacks so that you can pack everything you need for your next big trip.

In addition to Tortuga, I co-own Desert Gold, an Airbnb in Joshua Tree, California.

I'm passionate about travel, remote work, and location independence. I'm originally from New Castle, Pennsylvania but have lived in the Bay Area since 2007.

Before starting Tortuga, I worked at Google then as a freelance performance marketer for startups like Airbnb, Lyft, and Udemy.
